You may wonder why I have recently reduced the number of strips per week from four to two.
Well, the reason is mainly that I don't want to take shortcuts with my work. My schedule has recently gotten extremely busy in terms of my graduate assistantship (we just did broadcasts for ESPN last Friday and Sunday; it was a LONG weekend). Also, my coursework is giving me far less time than I had over the summer, where I was churning out 4-5 strips weekly. Rushing art makes every aspect of it suffer, from the beginning pencil sketch, to the digital colors, to the lettering process in Adobe Illustrator.
I owe my readers well-written and drawn stories--and I want to make good on that promise. Don't worry--Ellison, Sarah and the rest are not going away. In fact, you will be seeing more characters and backstories being fleshed out in the near future. I've been doing a lot of scripting over the last couple of weeks (I have plans stretching as far as 50 strips ahead of where I am now). Also, I plan to post on this blog more often and get more stuff on my Patreon page.
To each person who continues to read "Generation Why" every week, I would like to say that I truly appreciate each one of you and would love to have you interact with me directly. Feel free to drop a line in the response box, comment on this blog, or shoot me an e-mail.
